The MAX is the ultimate emergency preparedness tool designed to be carried as standard equipment on four wheel drive and off road vehicles and pickups. It incorporates seven basic hand tools into one compact and versatile unit based on a 3 1/2 pound Hudson Bay-style ax with a virtually unbreakable 34" composite polyglass handle.

Made from carbon steel tempered to US Forest Service specifications, the ax and its attachments are precision-built for strength and reliability. All metal parts and the composite handle are covered by a lifetime limited warranty against defects in manufacturing or materials. During use the attachments lock into a socket on the back of the ax head. They are further secured with a hitch pin for extra safety.

All the attachments come in a sturdy Cordura carrying case to provide easy access and save space. The entire unit is compact and portable. It can be mounted at any of several places inside or outside a 4WD vehicle or trailer. The MAX also stores neatly behind the seat and can be secured to a pack or belt for crosscountry travel.
